This was a fun fInished basement design & build project! After a few twists and turns in the design phase which took us from initially working off a “New York loft” style theme and eventually landing on the much better “Speakeasy” lower level we were ready to start adding the finishing touches that would bring this space to life. As you enter from upstairs you are immediately greeted by a reclaimed, turn-of the century wall sconce which is situated on the bold yet perfectly fitting wallpaper. Surrounded by reclaimed brick walls and uplit wine storage it truly feels like an underground space hidden from the world around it. Any Speakeasy wouldn’t be complete without a stage and rich stained bar stocked with gin and bourbon.
