It’s always a pleasure doing business with a repeat customer. We had remodeled the kitchen and contracted a complete 1st floor transformation two years prior and were called back to redesign and build the walkout basement for these wonderful clients. Being that they knew what to expect from us and we had a good sense of their taste and design style this project went as smoothly as you could ask for when building a home within a home. Features include: Custom bar, full bath, bedroom, gaming room with custom barn wood bunk beds and a living room area featuring a large fireplace and bookcases that function as hidden doors to access the utility room. For the gaming room we prepped both open walls for televisions to be mounted and had a custom steel sliding door made to close off the space and create a sound barrier for when the action gets a little too loud. Because this basement is a walk out that leads to the pool and outdoor hot tub we made sure to build the bathroom large enough to accommodate beach towel storage and changing room and installed a stackable washer and dryer in the closet under the stairs so swim suits and towels can stay near the pool at all times.
